I started N15 from the ground up in November 2015. I had been a master stylist for 15 years honing my craft in Aoyama, Toyko. In Canada, I had helped open a small salon, which I used as a launching pad for N15. At N15, my goal is to create a community driven environment that is unpretentious, honest and authentic. I would like to honor my craft in part by training other Japanese-North American stylists in my method. My dream is to build a bridge for other Japanese to follow my path. I have worked with several loyal assistants whom I am happy to have helped start their dream. This is part of my work that I am very proud. I hope when you come into N15, you have an immediate sense of who we are and what we are about. We are a team and as such, we encourage you to find the stylist that suits you the best.

I recently got a digital Japanese perm + cut at the college location, and I cannot recommend it enough! This was my first time doing anything to my hair besides getting it cut, so I was definitely a bit nervous going in. I booked both my consultation and the actual appointment with Rina, and she was incredible every step of the way. She explained everything clearly, made sure all my concerns were addressed, and really listened to what I wanted. Rina is so knowledgeable - she knew exactly how to cut and perm my hair to achieve the look I was hoping for. Plus, she has such a calming presence that I almost fell asleep during the appointment! If you're on the fence about booking, this is your sign to go for it. Rina and the whole team at N15 Salon are amazing!

I did a hair straightening and cut with Kazuma, and I'm very impressed, so here comes a genuine review! He's extremely detail-oriented, which matters a lot to me, and you will feel that he's not rushing and instead takes the time to make your hair as perfect as possible. With tedious tasks that take a lot of time (like bleaching or hair straightening, this matters a lot). I haven't washed my hair after straightening yet, but I'm sure it's great, and the cut as you see is very precise and easy to style. He's also very clearly passionate about what he does, which is awesome to see! The salon environment is also great, the music isn't too loud or too quiet, it's never busier than salon capacity and everything is clean and organized. As far as I could see, everyone had a very professional attitude, too. I will be back regularly (although still no idea what colour I wanna dye my hair next lol), and thank you to both Kazuma and the girl who helped with my hair!

He takes care of your hair and scalp during bleach/color so you’ll never feel any burning, actually I don’t feel a thing. Because I fully trust his execution, I enjoy the freedom to try as many hair colors I want from platinum blonde, to silver, to red! He also cuts and styles your hair in the way that best flatters you.

I've been getting my lash lifts here for a few years! They last anywhere from 4-8 weeks depending on how well I take care of them and where in my lash cycle I'm at. Both the regular lash lift and keratin lash lift are great. I tend to fall asleep during my appointments because they're so relaxing! Highly recommend
